That’s why we have created a supportive nutrition environment that focuses on belonging, engagement, expression, and well-being. We have partnered with Pur Catering, a reputable food catering company that adheres to high standards of cleanliness and quality of care. All our staff who handle food have received the necessary training and certification to ensure that children receive nutritious, fresh, hot meals and snacks made from locally sourced ingredients. We aim to provide a joyful and pleasurable dining experience for children. Our well-equipped kitchen, “Anchor Cafe,” is where we serve and plate meals in a delicious and appealing manner. Children serve themselves and sit around the table to eat together, which not only promotes socialization but also helps them improve their fine motor and self-help skills. During mealtimes, educators serve as positive role models to encourage children to make healthy food choices. We are committed to promoting cultural diversity and awareness amongst children. On Day 20 of each month, we serve a “multicultural special of the month” meal, which provides an opportunity for educators to discuss the country of origin of that meal with the children. This exercise is aimed at teaching children about different cultures, people, and their way of life.
